The City of Yankton may be able to start repair work this year on parts of the Marne Creek that were damaged in the flooding of March 2019.
City Manager Amy Leon says they expect an approval from FEMA fairly soon….
Leon says they plan to repair all of the damage in the next couple of years….
Leon says FEMA will pay for the majority of the reconstruction….
Leon says they don’t yet know what the total costs of reconstruction will be.
