BOLD Nebraska leaders are hailing Democratic Presidential Candidate Hilary Clinton’s opposition to the Keystone XL pipeline project. BOLD Nebraska Energy Director Ben Gotschall says Clinton’s stand could help convince the President to deny the pipeline permit. He says what’s noticeable is Clinton’s change in view of the pipeline issue.

Gotschall says they’re hoping to get backing from republican Presidential candidates. He says pipeline opponents have been talking about private property rights against eminent domain, which should fit with republican philosophy.

Clinton says the Keystone XL pipeline is a big distraction from what needs to be done to address climate change.
