A number of weather scientists from across the country have been meeting, comparing notes on local impacts of climate change.
Dennis Todey, who heads up the USDA Midwest Climate Hub (in Ames Iowa) says there is evidence of change all around us……

Todey says some of those changes include more irrigation where needed, and more drainage tile lines being installed.
