The Yankton City Commission approved the sale of about three acres of city owned land on the east edge of the downtown area.

Community and Economic Development Director Dave Mingo told the commission the city won’t directly work with the developer..

Mingo says the developer has presented a plan that would have construction start by the middle of 2021….

Mingo says the city won’t be providing any incentives…

The land will be sold for just over ninety thousand dollars. The site plan also has room for some residential construction.
