The Yankton City Commission is expected to issue a disaster declaration at their meeting tonight following the flash flooding and damage from earlier this month.
City Manager Amy Leon says the damage to the Auld-Brokaw Trail alongside Marne Creek is extensive and will be expensive..

Leon says engineering and hydrology studies of the damage will take some time. The commission meets tonight (Monday) at 7PM at the CM-TEA building.
