The Yankton City Commission approved a contract with their unionized workers at their meeting last night.

City Manager Amy Nelson said the city and workers had reached impasse, and a state negotiator came in to help them reach an agreement…

 

Nelson said they made a three year agreement on conditions…

 

Nelson said they also made some changes to training costs and procedures…

 

While many of the details are for three years, pay will have to be renegotiated again next year.
