Citizens Need to Help South Dakota Highway Committee

The field hearings of the Highway Needs and Financing Committee of the South Dakota Legislature have wrapped up. Those hearings were held around the state to get feedback from citizens about road conditions and ideas for improvements.
Committee member, Senator Jean Hunhoff of Yankton says they heard about a number of possible funding options………

Hunhoff says the state Department of Transportation does a good job with the money they get………

Hunhoff says they would like to hear from taxpayers on what options the legislature should consider…

The committee will hold a two day meeting in Pierre later this month to compile their information and talk about possible legislation.
