CHS leadership expects a smooth transition with their purchase of Country Pride Cooperative of Winner, South Dakota. CHS Senior Vice President Mike Johnston says they have a long history of serving South Dakota farmers and ranchers and have partnered with Country Pride Co-op in the past. He says the purchase will help CHS add value for area producers and reinforce their commitment to help their farmer-owners grow and succeed.

He says because CHS has had a very healthy year financially, it allowed them to move forward in acquiring Country Pride Cooperative.

Johnston says following due diligence, the sale will be finalized March 1.

CHS is a leading ag cooperative owned by farmers, ranchers and cooperatives across the United States and is diversified in energy, agronomy, grains and foods.
