Former South Dakota State record setting quarterback Taryn Christion has been signed by the Dallas Cowboys.

The Jackrabbits all time leader in passing yards and passing touchdowns originally signed as an undrafted free agent with Seattle before being waived by the Seahawks.

Christion will be the fourth quarterback in camp with Dallas including starter Dak Prescott.

The Cowboys officially released veteran receiver Allen Hurns to make room for Christion on the 90-man roster.
