The National Corn Growers Association has announced that Chris Novak will become the organizations next Chief Executive Officer, taking the place of Rick Tolman. Novak currently serves as CEO of the National Pork Board, a position he has held since October 2008. Minnesota Pork Executive Director Dave Preisler says Novak helped advance several big issues in the pork organization as its leader.
Preisler says a search for a new National Pork Board CEO will begin immediately as the Strategic Planning Committee will be meeting this week.
Novak’s first day as NCGA CEO will be Monday, October 13.
