Chilly Weekend Ahead

The big chill is about to hit.

The Aberdeen area will likely receive its killing frost for the season after a cold front moves in, according to Travis Tarver, Meteorologist with the National Weather Service in Aberdeen.

Tarver said the coldest conditions of the weekend will be Friday night.

The area normally experiences a killing frost a bit earlier than this, according to Tarver.

While the temperatures will be the coldest they have been in months, Tarver said they should soon rebound and the area will return to seasonal day-time highs.
