Kansas City Chiefs backup offensive lineman Rokevious Watkins has been suspended for four games for undisclosed violations.

In a two-sentence news release issued Thursday, the team says the NFL notified it of the suspension. The Chiefs said they would have no further comment on the situation or any aspect of the league’s policies.

Watkins is in his third season in the NFL after playing in one game for St. Louis in 2012 and three for Kansas City last year, including one start.

He was picked by St. Louis in the fifth round of the 2012 draft after playing college ball at South Carolina.
