United States Supreme Court Chief Justice John Roberts told a Nebraska audience he worries the partisanship that grips Washington will spill over onto the Supreme Court.
Roberts says he’s concerned about the other two branches of government. . .
Roberts, speaking at the Nebraska College of Law on the UNL campus, says the confirmation process has become partisan…and could well change people’s perception of the court.
Roberts says that under the current partisan atmosphere in Washington, neither Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg nor Antonin Scalia would have won confirmation.
