There is another attempt underway by Omaha State Senator Scott Lautenbaugh to bring charter schools to Nebraska.

Lautenbaugh has introduced a bill that would establish a pilot program in Omaha.

Lautenbaugh says his bill will likely come up for debate in the Education Committee next week. A similar bill failed to advance last year.
