Watertown police have identified a woman killed in a two vehicle crash on Watertown’s east side Thursday night.

She’s identified as 59 year-old Roberta Anderson of Marvin. She died at the scene.

Police Captain Kirk Ellis says Anderson was in a Ford Explorer that was entering Highway 212 at 35th Street Circle. That’s the entrance and exit point to the Interstate 29 McDonald’s.

Her vehicle was struck on the driver’s side by a westbound Mercury Mountaineer driven by 33 year-old Antonio Otero of Lakeville, Minnesota. Otero and a passenger were taken to Prairie Lakes Hospital with serious non life-threatening injuries.

Ellis says charges are pending, and the incident remains under investigation.
