The Center for Rural Affairs and the Nebraska Land Trust are offering a free program Tuesday November 23 on-line with the focus conservation easements. Center’s Policy Associate Justin Carter says it’s geared towards beginning farmers and ranchers and starts at 5 pm and runs for one hour.

He says CFRA is working with Nebraska Land Trust because theiy’re charged with administering conservation easements in the state and can answer typical questions about easements

Carter advises those getting involved with conservation easements to take their time and get familiar with the easements and how they work.

Carter says if you’d like more information about the program, just log onto the Center for Rural Affair’s website (at cfra.org/events).
