The deadline to apply for the Coronavirus Food Assistance Program two is about a month away coming up December 11. Bobbie Kriz Wickham with the Nebraska State Farm Service Agency Office says application forms are fairly simple and those interested should phone their county office for an appointment as soon as possible.
She says there are several application options available to enroll in CFAP 2.
CFAP 2 will provide $14 billion to eligible producers and as of November 9, $9.5 billion had been paid out. Wickham says there are still funds available so producers are encouraged to apply.
Wickham says that even if you applied for aid in the first CFAP program and are interested in CFAP 2 you must re-apply to be eligible for assistance.
