Central Nebraska Econ Director Named to KC Federal Reserve Council

The Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City has announced new appointments to its Community Development Advisory Council for 2017. The council will be composed of community, business and labor leaders from the Kansas City Fed’s seven-state region.
Judy Peterson, Executive Director for the Central Nebraska Economic Development District in Chambers, has been appointed to represent rural communities for a three-year term….

Peterson said she was brought in to address the issues facing rural areas….

The Central Nebraska Economic Development District is made up of fourteen counties in central, and north central Nebraska.
