The Center for Rural Affairs has joined Farm Aid and the Iowa Farmers Union in helping farmers impacted by the flooding in Nebraska and Iowa with grants. Center’s Policy Associate Cora Fox says interested person can fill out an application on their website.

She says besides the grants they also have resource help available.

Fox says the grants are only for farmers personal expenses and not for farm operating related expenses.

Fox says there’s also the Nebraska Rural Response Hotline producers can access in that state by calling 1—800—464—0258.
