The Center for Rural Affairs is assisting veterans who are just beginning or transitioning to farming and ranching. CFRA Policy Associate Cora Fox says many veterans want to get into the business.

She says veterans can get help from the Center and through a new provision contained in the farm bill.

Fox says veterans interested in farming and ranching and who want to network with other farmers or veterans are invited to a Center for Rural Affairs Event this Saturday in Blair, Nebraska.

The meeting on Saturday runs from noon to 4 pm.
