Center For Rural Affairs Concerned Over Executive Order On Health Care

Thursday President Trump issued an Executive Order on Health Care. The order was issued because of the President’s concern over Congressional failure to repeal the Affordable Care Act. Center for Rural Affairs Policy Associate Jordan Rasmussen says on the surface the executive action may look appealing to farmers and ranchers but the actual effects will be harmful.

She says the order leaves many questions open regarding health insurance care.

Rasmussen says the Executive Order will lead to even worse health care coverage options for farmers and ranchers.

Rasmussen doesn’t think Congress will be able to come together for positive health care reform and overcome the problems caused by the Executive Order.
