The Center for Consumer Freedom, a non-profit organization, has filed complaints with the Internal Revenue Service and the Federal Bureau of Investigation against PETA and two other animal rights activist groups. The Center’s Managing Director Will Coggin says they want the FBI to revoke charitable status from these groups and stop their alleged terrorist activities

He says the main group they’re focusing on with their complaint is PETA as they are secretly funding other splinter activist groups.

Coggin says they’re also alleging these animal activists have performed several illegal acts that the FBI needs to thoroughly investigate and take appropriate action against.

Coggin says besides PETA, the investigation needs to include the Animal Hope and Wellness Foundation and Direct Action Everywhere.
