Several cell towers in Yankton County are in need of upgrades. As additional antennas were being considered to expand tower capacity, it was found that the towers could not hold anymore weight. Garrity says in order to keep up with larger data capacity for emergency purposes, the county needs to grant conditional use permits for building more tower supports…
He told the county commission that there is also a new tower being built in the lake area to support the growing population and emergency service needs…
