Even as the numbers vaccinated against Covid-19 increases, there are reports of “breakthrough infections” in fully vaccinated people.

Liz Healy, infection control specialist with Avera Sacred Heart Hospital in Yankton, says some are caught in a virus storm….

The goal had been to get at least seventy percent or more of the population vaccinated to achieve “herd immunity.”
She says the trends don’t look good now….

Healy says they continue to fight bad information…..

Healy says the best way out of the pandemic is through vaccinations, which are free and easily available.
