Regional beef processor Cattlemen’s Heritage continues their equity drive for the next two weeks for their 1500-head per day plant to be located near Council Bluffs, Iowa.  Founder Chad Tentinger is touting various differences from past unsuccessful producer owned beef packing plants.  He says they’ll be offering a high-quality traceable product slaughtered in a nearly green plant.  Plus, he believes in their business model.

He says they’re currently offering investment for interested parties that do not want to deliver cattle.

Tentinger says down the road Cattlemen’s Heritage will also open investment opportunities for producers that want to deliver cattle to the plant.

He says they will also be a 95-percent plus green plant powered by wind and will have the lowest carbon footprint of any plant in the U.S.
