The U.S. House could vote this Friday on the trade promotion authority, or fast track legislation. South Dakota Cattlemen’s Association President, Todd Wilkinson says it’s important in order to advance needed trade agreements.

Wilkinson feels there is good support for this measure, but is aware it may be a tough fight to get it over the finish line.

TPA has been a sticking issue for some Democrats, who oppose giving that authority to the President.
