The majority of cattle producers say they support the National Beef Check-off program. Colorado cow calf producer and Cattlemen’s Beef Board member Jo Stanko says the most recent satisfaction survey was done in late December of 2015 and early this year. It found 3 out of 4 producers back the $1 per head assessment used for beef research, education and promotion.

She says the approval of the beef check-off is even higher with the younger producers.

Stanko says there are several benefits producers receive from their beef check-off investment.

An independent firm conducted the beef check-off survey for the Cattlemen’s Beef Board.
