Working level talks were held week on the Trans Pacific Partnership. Negotiators from the United States, Japan, Canada and Mexico are still trying tod resolve a few outstanding issues. Nebraska Cattlemen’s Association President Dave McCracken says America’s cattle producers are anxiously awaiting this free trade agreement.
The TPP is possibly the biggest trade agreement in history and McCracken says a successful deal needs to resolve tariff inequities.
One of the outstanding issues the working group is focusing on is the dispute over autos. However a complete agreement has yet to be reached on agricultural issues.
