New Senate Environment and Public Works Committee Chairman Jim Inhofe has pledged to combat the proposed Clean Water Act rule. South Dakota Cattlemen Association President Todd Wilkinson welcomes that move to try and get rid of the Waters of the U.S. plan. He says the budget bill passed late last year only got rid of part of EPA’s Clean Water Act proposal.
Wilkinson says if WOTUS is allowed to move forward it could devastate not only the livestock industry and all of agriculture but the entire economy as well.
Chairman Inhofe’s goal is to champion fiscally responsible policies for America’s economy.
