President Trump has issued an executive order calling for federal agencies to form task forces to roll back costly and unneeded regulations. The National Cattlemen’s Beef Association and Iowa Cattlemen’s Association support the move. NCBA President Craig Uden says there are several regulations that have been costly for his industry led by WOTUS.

He says many federal regulations that were put in during the last administration have been costly and unnecessary so this latest action is positive for cattle producers.

Iowa Cattlemen’s Association President Mike Cline says many of the regulations including WOTUS need to have a cost benefit analysis done before they’re allowed to go forward.

The President’s executive order calls for the regulatory reform task force to evaluate existing regulations and identify candidates for repeal or modification.
