Keep the Money in Nebraska reports it will make the July deadline to get a gambling referendum on the November ballot.
Spokesman Scott Lautenbaugh says the goal is to keep Nebraskans who gamble from going out-of-state.
Nebraskans spend nearly 500-million dollars annually at casinos in neighboring states.
Lautenbaugh says that money should stay here to benefit state and local governments.
He says opponents are using false information and scare tactics to prevent casinos at horse racing tracks.
Lautenbaugh says a petition drive to amend the Constitution to allow casinos, as well as regulate and tax them, will gather enough signatures to get the issue on the ballot this November.
