Nebraska College of Technical Agriculture Program Chair Doug Smith says Ag Ed graduates have plenty of job choices.
And, he says, they can do a little bit of everything.
He says some states have dozens of Ag Education teacher openings each year.
Kara Reimers went through the Ag Tech Ed program.
When she graduated two years ago, there were 30-40 Ag teacher positions open in Nebraska.
Reimers says she teaches business , animal science, food science, and basic agriculture classes, along with advising FFA students.
