The announcement by Nebraska District 40 Senator Tim Gragert of Creighton that he will not run for another term this fall has candidates lining up to run.

First to make his announcement was Keith Kube of Crofton…..

Kube, who ran for the seat four years ago, says he has spent that time writing commentaries on current issues….

Kube, who was in a six way primary four years ago, says he had a lot of encouragement to try again….

Barry DeKay, a rancher from Niobrara has also announced that he has filed his paperwork to run for the seat. The primary election will be on May tenth.
