Three one-run games made for a busy and thrilling day at the College World Series in Omaha.

Defending champ Vanderbilt started the day by completing a suspended game from Sunday night with a 4-3 win over Cal State Fullerton. Freshman Jeren Kendall had a walkoff two-run homer to keep the Commodores in the winner’s bracket.

Game two produced another walkoff result with Miami scoring in the bottom of the ninth to defeat Arkansas 4-3. The Hurricanes stay alive while the Razorbacks become the first team to leave Omaha.

Virginia won for the second time in the nightcap in a 1-0 pitchers’ duel over Florida.
