While most bars and restaurants in South Dakota are now closed to sit down traffic, it took some time and, in some cases, local ordinances to get them shut down.

Ben Hanten runs Bens Brewing in Yankton and says he got concerned about the spreading pandemic in mid-March….

Hanten says he looked to his onsite brewery to stay in business…

Hanten says he has made adjustments in hopes of riding out the closure….

Hanten says his best guess now is that they could reopen at least on a limited basis by late May.
