Business and job prospects look pretty good this year. That was the message from John Kramer, President of Yankton Area Progressive Growth. He spoke at the “State of the Community” meeting Tuesday.

Kramer says local manufacturers are holding their own….

Kramer outlined the challenges of attracting people to open jobs in the area. He says they continue to see more jobs than workers…..

Kramer says there may be more of a push to look at immigrants to fill those open jobs….

Kramer says low Ag prices will continue to be a drag on the local and state economy.
