A major expansion project is underway at the Burke Community Memorial Hospital. Groundbreaking was held this week for the six-million-dollar renovation and expansion.

The hospital has raised about one point two million dollars, and got a six-million-dollar loan from the US Department of Agriculture. The expansion should be done by the fall of 2018.
