In her budget address to the legislature earlier this month, Governor Kristi Noem proposed a two-point four percent increase in state aid to education for next year.

With many students using remote learning due to the pandemic, Kindle says the legislature may want to take a look at home school rules..

Kindle says ten to twenty percent of students have been using remote learning during the first semester.
