The budget approved by Congress last night would put more money toward rural water projects, but may not be much help to the Lewis & Clark Regional Water Project.
Executive Director Troy Larson says there is an additional thirty one million dollars for water projects in the bill.

Larson says the Bureau of Reclamation is also way behind in funding their own water projects.

Larson says at the current rate, all of the pending water projects will fall further behind.

Larson says the next critical step is finding out how much money the President will include for the project in his budget out early next year.
