A state program to help expectant and new mothers is exceeding expectations and its budget.

Magstadt, appearing before the interim Government Audit and Operations Committee, said they will be asking for more money for the program….

Magstadt also pointed to statistics that showed the state infant and maternal mortality rate as above average across the country.
