The Yankton City Commission voted to move ahead with the bidding process for some major upgrades to the north end plaza on the Meridian Bridge.

Total costs for the first two phases are estimated at about four hundred fifty thousand dollars.

Parks and Recreations Director Todd Larson said they haven’t split out the total costs for the second phase…

Commissioner Craig Sommer said they still have other funding sources to tap…

 

The proposal passed on and eight to one vote. Construction could begin this summer.
