Minnesota Vikings quarterback Sam Bradford sat out the team’s practice yesterday with what coach Mike Zimmer called “muscle tightness.”
Zimmer wasn’t specific on which muscles were ailing Bradford. But he did say it was purely precautionary and there was no concern for long-term issues.
Zimmer says he didn’t initially give the proper amount of care to a detached retina in his right eye that caused him to miss a game last season. Zimmer returned to the Vikings this week after a leave of absence to allow a right eye that has needed eight surgeries to rest and recover.
