The Boys & Girls Club of Yankton is moving ahead with plans to build a new facility adjacent to the Yankton Middle School. In an appearance before the Yankton City Commission last night, (Monday) they reported they have four point nine million dollars in pledges toward their goal of seven million dollars.

Marc Mooney, President of the Boys & Girls Club Board, asked the city to make a commitment…

Mooney says there is more than money involved…

City Manager Amy Nelson says they have a standing committee that can look at those type of requests…

The commission decided to let that committee look at the request before they take any action.
