Bounds Named New University of Nebraska President

The University Of Nebraska Board Of Regents voted unanimously on Monday to appoint their new president. Hank Bounds has been selected as the next president for the University of Nebraska.

Bounds, who is currently the commissioner of the Mississippi Institutions of Higher Learning, says he is excited by the opportunity.

Bounds says he is excited by the university’s comprehensive mission.

Bounds will oversee four campuses across the state in Lincoln, Omaha and Kearney and the College of Technical Agriculture in Curtis. He will assume the job in April.
