BOLD Nebraska leaders have turned their attention to new environmental and agricultural issues for 2016. That’s following their victory in 2015 in getting President Obama to deny the permit for the Keystone XL Pipeline project. BOLD Executive Director Jane Kleeb says they’ll be focusing on eminent domain legislation in Nebraska and mobilizing their efforts in other states to oppose environmentally risky projects.

She says they’ll be working to try and halt the Bakken Oil pipeline project that’s proposed for North and South Dakota, Iowa and Illinois.

Kleeb says BOLD will fight for private property rights in several states.

She says they’ll also work to support locally made clean energy projects.
