The body of a 19 year old man was recovered from Split Rock Creek in Palisades State Park just before 11AM Sunday morning,
The Minnehaha County Sheriffs Office says the man had been reported missing by friends about 5PM Saturday. Rescue efforts were called off Saturday night, and a recovery effort began Sunday morning. The Sheriffs Office says the man is an international student, and they are working to contact his family.
