The Blue Ribbon Task Force on Education is backing a plan to raise the state sales tax to increase teacher pay by seventy five million dollars.

Representative Jim Bolin of Canton says that is a huge number, but the state is rapidly falling behind other states………

Bolin says there could be some big roadblocks in the legislature to that tax proposal…..

Bolin says he expects a lot of debate over the state’s cash reserves…..

The Task Force has said their proposal should be passed as a package, and not in pieces.
