The “Blue Ribbon Task Force on Teachers and Students” was formed by South Dakota Governor Dennis Daugaard to deliver a data based report on the state of education to the 2016 legislature. The initial appointments have been made, and the task force will begin meetings this spring.

Yankton School Superintendent Dr. Wayne Kindle says the task force should be able to free range…

Kindle says he believes the school district is well managed, but can’t continue the same programs with decreasing revenue…

Kindle says this is one more step in the education funding process…

The task force, which is now made up of legislators and administration officials, will add more members during the summer round of meetings.
