Blue Ribbon Committee Starts 2nd Round Of Meetings

The next round of meetings for the Blue Ribbon Task Force on Education in South Dakota begin next week, and could stretch into late October.

The task force was created to Governor Dennis Daugaard to find what he called data driven answers to school funding.

As the first round of meetings wrapped up, Task Force Co-Chair, Representative Jacqueline Sly of Rapid City says there will have to be a consensus at some point…

 

Sly says people may have to be ready to make some changes…

 

Sly says the consensus will have to involve more than just legislators…

 

The next meeting of the task force is set for Tuesday, at the Capitol Visitor Center in Pierre.
