North Dakota State leads the way in The Summit League Commissioner’s Cup standings following the fall season of the 2016-17 academic year with 27.5 points.
The Bison are also first in the Dr. Helen Smiley Women’s All-Sports Award Standings while IUPUI and South Dakota State are tied atop in the Dr. William Steinbrecher Men’s All-Sports Award Standings.
South Dakota is in second with 25.5 points, while the next three slots are separated by just one point each. Denver is in third with 22.5 points, followed by South Dakota State (21.5 points) and IUPUI (20.5 points). Fort Wayne and Oral Roberts are tied for sixth with 16.5 points with Omaha placing eighth at 14.5 points and Western Illinois (10.0 points) in ninth.
North Dakota State sits atop the Commissioner’s Cup standings after capturing the women’s soccer regular season title and placing second in women’s cross country. The Bison took third place in both men’s cross country and volleyball.
Championships in women’s cross country and volleyball helped the Coyotes total 25.5 points for second place. Denver sits in third place after capturing three first-place finishes in men’s soccer, women’s soccer and volleyball.
IUPUI and South Dakota State are tied atop the men’s standings after the Jackrabbits claimed the men’s cross country title and the Jaguars took second place.
